Have you ever wanted to read the Bible but felt overwhelmed by all the books, names, places, and stories? Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible is an eight-week Catholic Bible study designed to help you understand how the pieces of Scripture fit together and reveal the story of salvation.

Beginning Monday, September 28, join us Monday evenings from 6:30–8 PM at Christ the King for this engaging study. We will meet in Classrooms 5/6 off the Parish Hall.

Please note: On Monday, November 2nd, we will meet from 7-8:30 PM following the 6 PM All Souls Mass at Christ the King.

What Is the Program?

Presented through Ascension's The Great Adventure Bible study series, Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible provides a clear introduction to the story of Scripture. The program focuses on 14 key narrative books of the Bible, following the story of salvation from Adam and Eve through Christ and the Church today.

Rather than approaching the Bible as a collection of unrelated stories, you'll begin to see the larger story of God's plan and discover where you fit within that story.

Each session includes an engaging video presentation followed by group discussion, reflection, and fellowship. The study is designed with beginners in mind, so you don't need to be a Bible expert—or have previous Bible study experience—to participate.

What You'll Explore

Over the eight sessions, you'll follow the story of salvation through key periods of biblical history, including:

• The Patriarchs
• Egypt, the Exodus, and the Desert Wanderings
• The Conquest and the Judges
• The Royal Kingdom
• The remaining major periods of salvation history leading to Christ and the Church

The goal is not simply to learn more facts about the Bible, but to help you understand Scripture as one unfolding story and approach God's Word with greater confidence.

Everyone is welcome! Whether you're new to Bible study, have been reading Scripture for years, or simply want a better understanding of how the Bible fits together, this study offers an opportunity to grow in faith and deepen your relationship with God's Word.
